Applications for Maes y Môr extra care scheme in Aberystwyth now open
Located at Pen yr Angor, Trefechan, with magnificent views over the town and harbour, it will be the second extra care scheme in Ceredigion when it opens in Summer 2021.
The scheme will provide a range of facilities and 24-hour on site care and support.
Maes y Môr is being developed in partnership with Wales & West Housing and lead contractor Anwyl Construction.

Eligibility
We will accept applications from adults with either a care or support need and priority will be given to those already living in Ceredigion.
An assessment of each individual’s circumstances will be made to determine their need for extra care housing.
The application process
To apply, register online, email housingregister@ceredigion.gov.uk or speak to one of our advisors on 01545 574123.
Once you’ve registered with Ceredigion County Council you will be contacted in due course so that a home visit can be arranged.
Following the home visit, your circumstances will be assessed to understand your care and support needs and what matters to you.
If Maes y Môr can meet your needs you will be informed and your application will be placed on a waiting list in readiness to be considered for an apartment.
Offers of accommodation are made to people on the waiting list.
If you are not successful when Maes y Môr initially opens your name will remain on the list to be considered for future vacancies.
